Marky's Market offers an on-line venue for regional artists to display and sell their products. Through Marky's co-operative efforts we bring you hand-made custom jewelry, hand thrown pottery, hand knit, crocheted, sewn and quilted products. We also present regional photogarphers and authors, whose novels and Cowboy Poetry take place in Utah, Arizona and our reional western culture.
Marky's local vendors include artists, photographers, jewelers, potters, or author are all among those who work magic with a machine, hook, needle or their minds and much more. We support each other through encouragement, enthusiasm, and a love of the arts and our Utah and Arizona communities. Every handmade product's stitch has a history. Every participant brings their unique handcrafted gift to you with a cultural diversity and ethnic background.

A percentage of each product sold on Marky's Market will be donated to one of four entities: Kane County Hospital, Kanab, Utah; The Domestic Violence Coalition, Kane County, Utah; Kane County School District, Kane County, Utah; Fredonia School District, Fredonia, Arizona.

4/29/12:Win Barney was born and raised in the Chicago area. She studied at The Art Institute of Chicago, painting in watercolor and drawing in pencil and ink.
She moved west to Arizona in 1970 and took up pottery, selling her hand-thrown pieces in Scottsdale shops. She and her husband started a new business in Flagstaff in 1984 and she took up her brush again, this time in oil. She belonged to the National League of American Pen Women and organization for women in the arts and exhibited in area fairs, juried shows and galleries, noted for landscapes, florals and birds.
Retirement landed Win and her husband in Kanab, Utah in 1997. She now paints in oil or draws in pencil, focusing on the Western landscape, historical locations and the beauty of the surrounding national parks and monuments.
4/15/12:Red Tail Hawk is a hand thrown art piece which stands 4 ½" tall is 4" around at its widest point with and opening of 3 ½". Red Tailed Hawk has a finished glazed interior. Rene'e is offering Red Tail Hawk in a limited edition of 25. Each peice is numbered.
Rene'e has mastered the difficult aspects and details of hand thrown pottery from the intricate hand painted designs and lids to the leather and bead accents found in many of her pieces. Rene'e uses natural pigments to recreate these depictions.
Each vase is made to order, please allow 4 to 6 weeks for an order to be filled.
3/18/12: Ooooh I just love these crocheted cotton dish cloths. They are hand crocheted and 100% cotton for easy care. You can throw them in your washer and dryer or your dishwasher when they, themselves, need a bath. Nola offers these at a great price. They are perfect for your kitchen and make wonderful gifts for family or friends.
3/3/2012: If your pets are like mine they select their own places to call "My Domain". Whether its on the back of the sofa, or where the late afternoon sun filters in on your favorite chair, your puppy or kitten will make it theirs.
